Community

The Mildura Working Man’s Club supports many local sporting clubs and community organisations on an annual basis by way of Sponsorships, Community Grants and donations of goods and services.

Sponsorship & Community Grant Applications

The Mildura Working Man's Club is proud to have assisted with donations and 'in kind' support to many varied organisations across the region.  Receipients include local schools, sporting clubs, community interest groups, Rotary, cancer support services, and local welfare groups.

The Mildura Working Man’s Club invites community organisations
based within a ten (10) kilometre radius of the Club to apply for
financial grants for the 2018/2019 year from the Club’s Community
Benefit Fund.

Applications can be made under the following criteria —

Sponsorship Grants:
From local community sporting clubs/organisations seeking
sponsorship for the 2018/2019 financial year.
(Prospective applicants should note that it is a condition of the
application process that sporting clubs making application MUST
be Level 3 accredited in the ‘Good Sports’ program initiative of the
Australian Drug Foundation)

Community Benefit Grants (Up to $500):
From community based organisations seeking grants up to $500 for
projects within the community for the 2018/2019 financial year.
The policy of the Mildura Working Man’s Club for the provision of
funding for sponsorships and community grants is on the basis that the
request is not for an ‘individual’, but to a community group or sporting
organisation.

Applications close at 5pm Friday June 8th and must be on
the prescribed forms which are available at Club reception or at
Sporting-Sponsorship-Protocol-2018-2019.pdf

Late applications will not be considered.
